David Tennant ha firmato 1000 cards da vendere on line per raccogliere dei soldi da destinarsi ai malati di lesioni celebrali.
L’attore ha interpretato nel 2007 Alan Hamilton nel film TV Recovery. Un uomo che, in seguito ad un incidente riportava dei gravi danni celebrali tali da renderlo una persona totalmente diversa da quella conosciuta dalla moglie e dai figli e da rendergli quasi impossibili le cose più semplici come, ad esempio, preparare un toast o vestirsi.
In preparazione al ruolo, David, aveva visitato la struttura del Headway Essex. “While researching my role in Recovery, I spent time at Headway Essex. It was a powerful experience.” NewScotsman.
